This initial step helps determine if we’re a good fit for your project. It includes assessing tech feasibility, your team’s goals, budget, and timeline, and aligning expectations so we can decide together whether to proceed.

You begin by booking a call with a Kodescraft account executive to discuss your project and our approach. They will understand your team, objectives, and critical product requirements. From this call, they will provide a summary for our product team, which will review and confirm technical feasibility and budget/timeline alignment.

The result of this step is a high-level written proposal for the build, including features, budget, and timeline. This will be confirmed during the formal scoping process.

Scoping

The scoping step aims to align on the exact features and architecture for your project. Defining everything upfront ensures we move quickly during the build and meet your expectations.

We match you with a Product Manager (PM) who will best serve your needs. During your calls with the PM, you’ll walk through the entire app flow, stopping at critical points to decide on essential features versus those that can be added later. Our team performs technical research and documents all requirements.

The result is a detailed scope document outlining the exact users, pages, and features your initial product will include, along with a timeline and budget.

Design

With feature requirements in place, the next step is to add high-fidelity mockups that define user interactions with your product. This is where the UX designer comes in.

Using the written feature descriptions from the scoping doc, the UX designer creates custom Figma mockups for your app, ensuring they fit your company’s branding and follow best practices. This results in designs that are custom to your features, adhere to UX conventions, and fit our build process for efficient assembly.

Once the mockups are ready, they serve as the blueprint for your build. You can provide detailed feedback within this doc, and your PM can make necessary adjustments.

Development
